In this self-discovery workshop, "Real Colors® for the Real You!" we will look at ways you can build yourself up by understanding what is at the heart of your setbacks and failures...you. Each person that attends this workshop will take a personality survey that will give them basic information about their personality based on the National Curriculum Training Institute's Real Colors® Personality Assessment.
Of course the biggest factor affecting your relationships is you - your emotions, attitudes, behaviors, fears, doubts, insecurities, passions, hopes, and desires. Since the biggest factor is you, you have a lot of power over changing the quality of your relationships. When you get a handle on this aspect of your life, all of your relationships become easy to maintain and develop. We will then look at the relationships in your lives - family, friends, significant others, and understand how we can make them better and more satisfying.
You see, the power to accomplish these things exists in you - you just have to unlock it. The key is Real Colors®. It is based on the work of Hippocrates, ancient Egyptians, Carl Jung, Erich Adickes, Ernst Kretchmer, Alfred Adler, and Eduard Spranger. Using Carl Jung's work as a springboard Isabel Myers and her daughter Katharine Briggs began their work developing the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI). Shortly thereafter, David Keirsey developed his own concept of temperament theory and wrote the books Please Understand Me I and II.
In the Real Colors® for the Real You! Workshop, you will learn how to:
- Pull strength from within and learn to completely open up to yourself and others.
- Remove blocks to intimacy in order to expand your ability to love.
- Honor yourself and the choices you make.
- Become the fully realized and loving being you are meant to be.
- Learn to recognize the strengths of others.
- Learn how to build instant rapport with people.
- Learn the most effective methods of speaking to different people.
- Learn to hear what people are really saying.
- Learn to appreciate and value the viewpoints of others.
- Apply the Real Colors® principles in all areas of your life.
The Real Colors® personality instrument uses four colors: blue, green, gold, and orange as identifiers for the personalities. Through Real Colors®, you'll gain a completely new perspective on yourself and the things that are most important to you, specifically those things that are important to you in relationships. As you learn more about Real Colors®, you'll instinctively recognize characteristics of people you know and their Real Colors®. This gives you valuable insight into what is most important to them, why they may react to situations differently than you, how you can best communicate with them and much more.
NCTI's exclusive Real Colors® Personality Instrument is presented in a fast, fun, interactive format where you can learn how to quickly identify your temperament or "color" and that of others. Using this powerful knowledge, you can develop more effective communication skills and build better relationships, in and out of the workplace.
