Retreat Doesn’t Always Mean Surrender
This workshop will deal with the purpose and reasons for having organizational retreats for student organizations. It will include some fun and interactive icebreakers and team builders. Each participant will get a package of information. The premise of this workshop is to show how to get your student organization on the right track by getting to know each other and learning more about the organization as well as ways to improve it internally.
What Color Leader Are You?
Have you wondered why you can get some people on your committee to get on board and give 100% while others seem to stand back and watch? This workshop is designed to help you understand how to speak, interact, lead and facilitate in a manner that “speaks” to everyone in your organization. Hands-on demonstration of the Real Colors® will be utilized to help you get your committee members to complete tasks and be more productive. The Real Colors® is based on the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator and utilizes four colors: Blue, Green, Gold, and Orange as descriptors of individuals.
Making meeting Works
The purpose of this workshop is to have better, productive meetings, and move the organization along. The objective is to increase productivity and decrease negative behaviors in meetings. This will be done through a series of hands on experiences and lecture.
